The months long Micro Tech - Bharati Airtel tie up for technology comes successful with Lost Mobile Tracking system. Though this technology service from airtel has been expected from May-June 2007, finallyDelhi Airtel subscribers has got the Lost Mobile Tracking System today.

Micro technologies India provides the software for this service which uses GSM for tracking. The hidden installed Tracking software would send an e-mail to the Airtel, ‘The new mobile phone no’ which might be used after the theft, the IMEI number and the current location of the mobile. The e-mail would be sent to mail of the Airtel which will be registered in the software. This uses GSM technology for sending e-mails.

The airtel customers can logon to airtel website or call the subscriber for subscribing this service. North regions and Gujarat region subscribers will get this service.
