Today Telecom Disputes Settlement Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) has directed Multi Screen Media Pvt. Ltd (MSM), a joint venture promoted by Sony Pictures Entertainment, to give its channels to Sun Direct, the DTH service run by Sun Network in southern India.

As the IPL matches is just a week away and Set Max, the channel belongs to Sony family, has the exclusive rights of telecast, this order is definite happy news for the Sun DTH subscribers. Information on whether the subscribers need to buy any additional package to watch the sony channels, especially Set Max, is unavailble for the moment.
