Nokia Connection 2008 - Coverage

It is an annual event by Nokia before CommunicAsia every year. While Communiasia -08 an annual event for digitalmedia industry qill start by 17Jun, Nokia Connection 2008 has been ended up today.

The key features from Nokia Connection 2008:

Lanuch of Nokia E66 & E71:

E66 a upgrade from E65 in the departments like Camera, Home Screen Features and so on. Similarly E71 is a upgrade of E61i.

E66 and E71i are same in 3G phone,3.2 mp camera, price (EURO 350 approx) and availablity (july 2008) but different in Slimness E71<E66, Size E71>E66 because of it QWERTY keyboard.

OVI - as we all know an internet service from Nokia for downloading mobile content launched last year.

‘Share on OVI’ is a feature announed in NC-2008 in which we can upload and share (videos, music and images) through our mobile internet.

Nokia Interactive Advertising:

Nokia is entering the mobile advertising space with contextual ads on the mobile platform. They’re going up against the big Google when it comes to mobile ads but methinks their strategy is a simpler solutions provider. Not a lot of details was released as to how they’re going to go about it. Mostly case studies were presented of other online campaigns. But Nokia really hints that they’re going into this space because of the higher CTR and segmented penetration.
