Datacom launch on schedule

Datacom reconfirms that it will launch their mobile services on August 15, as per schedule, in Chennai.

Datacom solutions pvt limited, a joint venture of Venugopal Dhoot owned Videocon group and Nahata owned Jumbo Techno Services Pvt Ltd, plans to launch its mobile services from August 15. But sooner Jumbo, (who holds 36% stake), has raised several issues relating to corporate governance and shareholders agreement with Videocon, (the majority partner with 64% stake). The tussle seems not seems to end quickly and raised questions on the launch of the mobile services as per the schedule.

With today’s confirmation from Ravi Sharma, CEO of Datacom solutions, We can expect the disputes has not affected the company and the services will be launched as per schedule.
