MTNL slashes broadband rates; Introduces Mobile TV services

MTNL - New Delhi has slashed the broadband rates and introduced two new low cost plans, as an attempt to increase the user base in the region. According to the company’s official announcement, the tariff for the Rs. 899 plan will be reduced by 34 percent to Rs. 599 and is effective from September 1st. Also MTNL has introduced two new plans Rs. 99 and Rs. 149, by which the customers can enjoy 2Mbps broadband connection with the free download limit of 150 Mb and 400 Mb respectively. These two new plans will be available from August 15.

Also MTNL has launched the Mobile TV services for the subscribers under Dolphin and Trump plans. Customers will be able to see upto 20 channels at Rs. 99/month.
