elhiates can now get the power of internet in their telephone system itself. Google has launched voice based local search in Delhi and NCR regions, by which users can get the required information by dialling a toll free number and answer the questions to the Intelligent Voice Response (IVR) system. Google has been tested this service in Hydrabad for the last six months and now extended the same to Delhi region.
This is how the system works. Users has to call the toll free number, 1-800-41-999-999 and answer the questions of the IVR. IVR is designed in such a way that with the minimum number of questions it will be able to filter out the customers requirement . The system will also sends the details thru’ an SMS to the customers phone number. This total search will be completely free for the customers and in the long run Google will integrate ads in the SMS and the caller tones.
