Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) broadband consumers would soon be able to enjoy the broadband multi play scheme soon this year, hopefully before Diwali. Under the scheme the consumers would be able to view television programmes by an internet device or computer.
The service has been initiated in the Barabanki city of Uttar Pradesh, towers relaying broadband features have been installed at Haidergarh, Ramnagar, Ram Sanehighat, Fatehpur, Rudauli and two more towns of the district.
The consumers would also be able to receive location base service. The biggest beneficiary of this service would be the police and private companies. The officers would easily be able to detect the location of their employees as and when needed.
Elaborating future schemes of the nigam, an internet on WLL Base Service will also be provided to the consumers. Under this scheme a consumer will have to pay only Rs 200 for operating the internet device and the consumers have been advised to contact the concerned office for further information.
The BSNL counters will now remain open from 8 am to 8 pm and payment of the bills can be made from 8 am to 4 pm forty new BTS, will be established for rectification of mobile phone service. The consumers can lodge their complaints on BSNL website portel. Citizens paying rupees one thousand and five hundred will be supplied bills at their residences through Nigam employees.
