International Data Roaming from RComm

Reliance Communication has launched international data roaming that would provide Internet connectivity to its consumers in their laptops and computers through their mobile phones while travelling in the US. Reliance communication signed an agreement with US telecom major Verizon for this purpose last week. RComm introduced international voice roaming two years ago to the US and its charges are 67 per cent lower than other telecom operators who provide this facility on mobile phones using GSM technology. Reliance Communication plans to launch this international data roaming facility in Canada, followed by Latin America and then to Asian countries like Japan, South Korea, China and other countries which used CDMA technology for their mobile phone services. Relaince is the first CDMA operator in India to offer data roaming facilities to travellers to the US. RComm’s customers can now seamlessly connect for making calls, checking e-mails or even surfing the net.
