Cricinfo Mobile has announced the launch of ‘Cricinfo MobiCast’ — a live, ball-by-ball update and scorecard service for Internet/GPRS enabled mobile phones. This free service is offered in association with Plusmo (a US-based venture that offers a free service which allows one to run applications and read content on mobile phones); standard data charges are applicable, based on the carrier’s rate plan. Cricinfo MobiCast can be viewed by typing the URL ‘http://ci.plusmo.com’ into the mobile phone’s WAP browser.
