HTC T8290 - 4G Mobile phone ?

HTC (High Tech Computer Corporation, Taiwan-based manufacturer of primarily Microsoft Windows Mobile-based portable devices) is now set out to release a Wi-Max enabled mobile. It is said to be the world’s first 4G mobile phone! Yes, it is 4G technology that is fast approaching in the near future.

HTC’s release is a WiMax + GSM Communicator featuring new generation mobile services. With a joint venture of YOTA’s Skartel, HTC is going to make it public in the Russian Market by the end of this year. Hence, it is designed to work in Russia’s WiMax network.

- Ability to download movies, TV shows and music to name a few.
