Nokia’s roadmap leaked. More Smartphones are on the way

Nokia loads its guns with more arms. The company has chalked out its strategic market plan with touchscreen phones by this year. 5800 Xpress Music will get its shape matching at least 3 devices, as revealed in a leaked roadmap to BGR. Notwithstanding the tempo, Nokia, being in its full swing, is listing out three touchscreen devices. These are in addition to the already existing budget E63 QW ERTY. The company is contemplating as well expanding these devices to be completed, at least on a basic level, by the year end. IP08, temporarily nicknamed, offers a widescreen device “Naviscroll” interface, a five mega pixel camera, ably assisted by GPS and WiFi. Ivalo, a codename for another model, has to its credit, the mainstream of Nokia’s true flagship. As of now, no official news or picture of any of these models is yet released. All the models will have uniform features in the way of WiFi, built-in GPS and 5 MP autofocus. In addition, regular fine tunes for your ears – FM radio and MP3 players.
Nokia’s Ivalo will be sensational with a larger 3.5 inch touchscreen, and 32 GB built-in flash memory along with features spearheaded by IP08 – TV-out, Bluetooth. Eitri, the last in the list, expected to reach the market in the early 2009, will be as large as Ivalo, in terms of screen, 3.5 inch and an assured 8GB storage memory, a new pressure-sensitive UI haptic (tactile) feedback control system, Add-on will be a compass for locating the phone’s orientation freed from GPS.
Nokia stretches its new arrivals with another models, but this time with a non-touch option. E75 slider, which is still on the shell, and a Variant (termed Stella and Terra), the Corolla carrying the QW-ER-Ty keyboard, 8 megapixel camera, 3-inch VGA 16M color TFT display, AT&T specific jig, the hardware efficiency of 6650 and inculcated with HSDPA – based 3G. The outsmarting features of this model are GPS, WiFi with UPnP, 12 MB RAM, 8GB ROM. The dates of the launch contradicts with the speculative dates being assessed in the company. Nokia, on the other hand, is targeting the Mobile World Congress, slated for 16th Feb 2009 as the ideal platform to ship the products. Nokia’s venture, though lagging Apple iPhone by two years, will be a major breakthrough in its road to touchscreen phones. 5800 Xpress Music is being synchronized to sweeten the ears of the consumers. Will it Rock ‘n’ Roll !.
