After SMS, now it’s IMS. – Tata Indicom is mounting the heat ‘instantly’ with its ‘instant messaging services’. Tata Indicom, a seasonal phone company, has a different story to web. Now its Tata Indicom Instant Messenger Services enables users to form, multiply friends/relatives in addition to chatting. The tariff fixed by the company is Rs48/30 days and it is unlimited too. Just by logging on to Tata Zone, the subscribers can download the application and opt for this service.
Irrespective of the scheme – prepaid/postpaid, it is compatible with Nokia, Samsung, Motorola, and Huawei handsets. The company official claims that this service is aimed at building the mobile phones with one of the internet’s most-sought applications – Internet Messaging. The company focuses its stance on creating a new thunder by way of cross-operator, instant messaging community. The company foresees that this service will be the aspiring killer application on mobile. And it’ll be a viable alternative for an SMS service.
