After Airtel, now Vodafone has slashed STD and roaming tariff

Last week, Bharati Airtel has slashed the STD charges to Rs. 1.50 and the roaming charges to Rs. 1.00 for all the incoming calls. Now today its the turn from Vodafone.
Vodafone today announced the reduction of STD call charges to Rs. 1.30/min and the roaming charges to Rs. 1.00 for all the incoming and local outgoing calls for all customers across India. All the STD calls made while roaming will be charged Rs. 1. 50/min. This rate reduction will be effective from May 6.
We can expect similar rate slashing from other providers like Spice, Aircel, Reliance and Tata Indicom in the coming days. Now without much fear, Bol India Bol.
