Honestly there is not much difference except the glass back for wireless charging - u might get a slightly better display/pics from iph8 but the difference is not substantial to consider an upgrade.

No..even it doesn't have portrait mode, IPhone 8 Plus has. But apart from Bokeh mode, rest of camera functionality and the device's build quality pays the value for money
