Its an amazing phone. As I have used only blackberries most of my life and was worried that it would lack that blackberry feel but it doesnt. Worth it! Only issues are cases and tempered glass

nice phone

Very bad... i love blackberry however this is the worst phone i have ever seen. highly disappointed. it hangs a lot. speed is so slow. interface is not good at all good. Finger print sensor is not worth. At back.. most of the time headache to get the finger recognised.

over priced and single sim

Superb Phone using it more than a month works very fast and lightening speed. And security of blackberry is added advantage for the android OS. This is a must buy. I'm very happy. Camera is superb quality no heating issues. Charging takes 45 mins from 0 to 100%. Supports 2TB. I equipped it with 200GB memory card. Accessories available on amazon fits perfectlyo do the phone specially the screen guard and cover. This is a perfect business phone and also gamers can also opt this as heating issue is not there.

Away some Device with BlackBerry security but battery died for the day Ends. Overall experience is Good. Giving 4 Star.

Super fluidic design in HW and SW. The phone works like a charm and i couldnt stop looking at its gorgeous display.
The main drawacks are the camera. This might be good for the price range but i was expecting more.
The other drawback is the phone was getting warm even for normal operations. and it is difficult to hold it when its warm due the side alluminium lines.

I purchased the DTEK60 via Amazon in February.

I have been a Blackberry customer and have been waiting for BB to come up with a device that incorporates the features that we have become accustomed to, This is a great device on it's own but I have to say it falls short on delivering the BB experience. In the end it is an Android phone with a few BB features added on to the package. The BB apps are not as tight as they were on BB10. The device does not lack in processor power and speed. As a platform it works very well with all the usual Android software. After being isolated from the app world on BB10 it's great to be able to install apps on the fly and they all integrate very well on the DTEK60. You are getting top level performance with the DTEK60.

The full glass construction makes it difficult to hold with regular use and I recommend getting a case with your purchase. Unfortunately there are not many choices once again and I had to settle for an average quality supplier. Once I had the case installed the phone was much easier to use and of course leaving it on any type of surface was no longer a worry. Build quality is good but not great. My volume rocker switch has developed a little "play" which is annoying considering it's only a few weeks old.

Having said all that the price though is "right". For a comparable device you have to pay about 40% more for a Samsung Galaxy S7 or an iPhone 7 Plus. Yes it is at that level so you are getting a device that keeps pace with the latest phones you can buy at the moment. No lag on apps and you can leave them running in the background without a problem. The speaker phone is excellent and I use it all the time. I've had the occasional goof up where the touch screen sets off a few apps while I have placed the DTEK60 on ear. On the whole, the device has behaved properly even under normal use - Google Maps, Uber, Email and a couple of other apps running in the background.

Blackberry has packed a lot into the DTEK60 and it will not disappoint most. However loyal BB customers will feel a little frustrated at maybe another missed opportunity from BB. Hopefully, the misses on the BB software end of things can be fixed with future updates. The phone however is great as an Android phone but who wants Android. Blackberry should have shoved all the Android stuff in the background and placed a BB10 type GUI up front and center.

Great phone and Android device. Just not as good a Blackberry device as I wanted it to be.
