Whatever the promise of the battery lasting for two days is a misnomer. I use my phone to call, sms mail and once in a while check my FB account. The battery lasts for just half a day by which I would have made just a few calls and checked my mail. Yet it requires to be charged twice a day!!! And yes there are no other apps running. Functionwise, it is a good phone.

But after using it for a month the phone does not work properly, it starts getting heated after using it for hrs.
Dont buy it.. Not worth it..

Awesome phone, BB Q5, love features n speed, Look is very simple. internal memory is 8gb, Awesome battery backup. it works on normal internet plan.

The system is confusing and not intuitive at all. I know four people who bought it recently in different companies because we like to have a physical keyboard. All of us are or have replaced the phones.

I have had it one week and it has frozen twice, replaced names on phone numbers, and is generally a pain to use in its inconsistent actions.

best of both worlds, offers a touch screen experience and the QWERTY layout offers error free typing. The latest OS is really super smooth, and offers to partition the device between business and personal - allowing you to logically separate these aspects of your life is important for me.

Battery life is great, last up to two days with 3G/EDGE on all the time. I mostly do email, calendar and don't browse at all. I also do long phone calls (30 min to an hour) and the battery easily lasts several such calls a day.

Audio and call quality are superb, the device can play back music even from FLAC files :-)

After 3 days camera stop working, try everything but does not work.
Hence return it back to amazon coz amazon dont have replacement policy.

Blackberry Q5 phone does give collective experience of a touch screen and traditional blackberry qwerty feel. overall design is quite good . Touch screen experience is with the current bench mark. its quick and responsive. camera performance is good in daylight but average in dark background. Blackberry maps will not work as of now.But one could easily download and operate Google maps.To summarize,
Pros:responsive touch screen, battery, performance, full qwerty keyboard
cons:few apps
Overall! A phone well worth the price!!
