BlackBerry Z30 User Reviews

Good OS 5.0 stars
As many reviewers have mentioned, I thought on the first day that I had made a wrong decision in buying this phone. But,once you get the feel of how the OS works, you will come to appreciate it.Go for it only if u don't need a lot of useless Android/ios apps and flashy camera/videos.

I would call him the SMARTPHONE..... 5.0 stars
The real SMARTPHONE... Blacky....Pros:Great build qualitySexy looksGreat batteryFluid OSHubGreat viewing anglesKiller keypad, prediction is awesomeDecent camera, bothNice speakers and sound qualityAwesome headphoneAndroid app support (no need to worry about BB apps, android apps works like an android phone, no lags)The BB trademark, securityWhat else you want from a phone????Cons:Nothing found. But I would say BB World (bb app store) still lacks, it should be improved.During my initial 2 days with the phone I was really confused, because, the OS is very different from Android and ios.I have an android device. The Z30 is my first bb device. But after 2 days I fell on love with the genius Z30. Its simply awesome. You may take some time to understand it. 10.3 update gave a lot of great changes aw well. Especially the menu icons.I bought this phone after a 6 months of research. Lots of my friends told me that you will regret about it, bb is dead etc.I like to take risks, and yes I bought him, my Blacky. But, one of my friend who seriously warned me about this buy used this phone for a few times. After that I asked him what would you say about this phone, he replied "The SMARTPHONE".Yes, this is the real,I would say the one and only smartphone available now.Battery backup is great. It will give at least 25 hours for average usage.Display is very brilliant and bright. Excellent viewing angels. The super amoled really works with 294 ppi.The Hub is a great feature where you will get all types of notifications.Camera is a decent one. While comparing with Xperia Z, both are should to shoulder. But low light performance is not good. Its is not an issue. The looks is simply superb. Many asked me hey nice looking phone, which phone is this...In terms of performance, it is fast and fluid. I never faced any kind of slow down and hang issues. Many are saying that there is very lesser number of apps, you will get almost all common apps from bb world. And it support android apps as well. I am using 8 to 10 android apps in this phone, all are working fine, never faced any issue.Hence, apps is not an issue. "snap" app will be very useful for downloading and installing android apps. But still I would say, bb world should be improved, it still lacks. If you want a good smartphone, you can blindly buy this.

Good phone 5.0 stars
Product is awesome... Its far better choice than some Android toy phone. Less applications, but all required application are available. BB Maps is working fine in India, only catch is, it does not display traffic information. Its fast, beautiful, does not lag like Android. If you want, via Amazon App Store you can install Android App also.

This is it! [Previous Android and Nokia Lumia 920 user] 5.0 stars
So, I had been thinking of getting a new phone for a long time and finally had my eyes set on the Blackberry Z3 (http://www.amazon.in/BlackBerry-Z3-Black/dp/B00LFL8SUC/ref=sr\\_1\\_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1422955365&sr=1-1&keywords=blackberry+z3). Since the prices online were higher, I went to one of the local mall to check out the phone. While I was fiddling with it, my eyes caught the Blackberry Z30, kept right beside and I was B.L.O.W.N. Away. What amazing looks and feel. I had not performed a background check on the phone and the reviews, but just on impulse I went ahead and bought it. Yes, I am an impulsive buyer. And honestly I don't regret even one bit buying this phone even if it meant a few several thousands more. It's simply elegant. The detailed review is below along and the pros and cons later.Display: The display is great, not too flashy, not too bright, just professional and classy. The resolution is amazing. In fact the display was one of the factors which took me away from getting the Z3 and getting this instead. Very elegant.Grip and Hold: Feels comfortable to grip and hold, especially the back cover has a soft matte finish to it with the classy blackberry logo. I especially like the curved edges of the phone which appear very smooth.Battery life: Simply superb. With the 2880mAh battery this phone packs a punch. Previous to this phone I was using the Nokia Lumia 920 and had to charge my phone almost twice a day with moderate use. With moderate use (phone calls, messages, 3 email syncs, whatsapp, facebook) this phone lasts me around 1.5 - 1.75 days from full charge to 0\\%OS: It will take you at least a day for you to get used to the OS and the shortcuts. First one hour after I turned on the mobile I was regretting buying the phone and wanted to go back to my Lumia, but after a day of familiarizing with how the OS works, I don;t think of switching to any other phone. It's intuitive, not clunky and awesome for multi-tasking. The keyboard is also great. Oh, also there is also a bedside more, primarily to switch on when you go to sleep. In this mode, you won't get any beeps or buzzes for notifications, BUT it allows phone calls to come in! So, no more worries about keeping your phone on silent for a good night sleep and missing out on an emergency phone call. Very handy feature.Blackberry Hub: This is the best thing ever in blackberry devices. Takes a bit of time to get used to, but when you get the hang of it, it is pretty nifty. It's essentially all your communications in one single place. This feature also enables you to check (and reply) your whatsapp and facebook messages without actually opening the respective apps. I guess that goes a long way to save the battery.App Store: I would agree the app store is not great, but it suits my needs. All the basic apps I need are there, even banking apps such as SBI. HOWEVER, you can install a lot more apps if you sideload android apps using popular applications like Snap (http://crackberry.com/how-use-snap-blackberry-1021-install-android-apk-files). I have already installed a few android apps and it works great, but mind you not ALL apps will work. Google maps from android store works flawlessly.Camera: Am not much of a picture person, but the photos I have taken so far come out okay to my satisfaction. To now list a few pros and cons:Pros: - Great OS. Very stable, never hangs. Clutter free- BB Hub : Very handy for message without actually opening the native apps (like whatsapp etc)- Good battery life. Moderate to slight heavy use lasts me around 1.5 - 1.75 days- Premium feel. When you own a blackberry you know itCons:- Heavy app users might gripe about BB store. But you can sideload many android apps. Most work, some don't.- Location of buttons: I would have liked the power button by the side and not way over at the top. Also, the charging port should have been at the bottom, not at the side... making it a little harder to operate while charging. Not a big issue.Overall Verdict: Great phone.. go get it!

Amazing phone, Amazing experience. 5.0 stars
Z30 is a clear underdog in the world of smartphones. I can see that blackberry has not left any effort in making a very good and solid phone. i have been using this for some time now and i am really enjoying this device. it just takes a little getting used to, the OS i mean but once you get comfortable you wont look back at android. No more unrequired updates, no more lags, no slowness, no need for reboot every few days. BB10 is snappy, and ultra responsive and supports almost all native android apps. i have all my frequently used android apps working without any issues. native BB10 apps are limited but the support for 3rd party appstore like Amazon appstore and now the native Play store, you dont miss android os at all. On exchange push mail, with 3 personal email accounts, whatsapp, moderate browsing, the battery easily lasts me for a complete day. with support for Miracast, wifi direct nfc, live becomes more simple. i would strongly recommend this phone to people who are looking to move away from android os (used it for over 5 years from the days of the donut) but would still like to have a choice of apps, a rock solid mail client and an amazing browser.

Excellent Product 5.0 stars
You are going to love this, it looks and feels great and compact.I don't know whats with so many negative reviews online but it sure does everything an android can do. Yes, if you have pin point details, there are differences like lesser number of apps but honestly, how many apps will you ever so? All the basic apps are right here on Blackberry World. Its got a nice camera which does the job, good screen, really fast, plenty of RAM and Memory. Nice earphones also help and the speaker music quality is awesome.A very good phone, its worth using!!
