Great phone for the price 5.0 stars
I bout it in March 2016 and used till November 2018. It was working great till the time I lost it. It was giving battery backup of more than 24 hrs even after 2.5years of regular and rough use. Sturdy build quality. Within a month of purchase I accidentally crushed the screen a bit while closing the door but apart from a slight yellowish tinge at the corner the screen worked flawlessly. It was barely noticeable and appeared on on dark screen. Apart from that I dropped it 4-5 times on asphalt and floor, be it luck or build quality the damn thing never cracked. Only bruises. Once while taking the bag I flung it from one end of a bus to the other end and case,cover etc came apart and I thought the phone is done but I put it back together, tapped the screen and voila good to go. No screen crack, nothing. May be I was lucky that time but it's a great phone nevertheless.

Best Phone I ever bought, though malicious backdoors are HUGE ISSUE 3.0 stars
This phone lasted more than any of my phones (still using it as a primary phone). It has best overall experience in an under 10k phone I ever had. Best thing about the phone is its durability. Gorilla glass and back-cover are both quite sturdy. I may have dropped the phone more times than I can remember, even while driving, and never had any damage to it yet.

Only and the biggest issue is malicious backdoors and all "Cool" apps. I am a techie so modifying original ROM wasn't an issue for me, but for non-techies I would urge to not buy any CoolPad phones.

Worse than average 3.0 stars
First impression of the phone gives you a HTC like feel and vibe and anyone can be fooled on its first look that it is not HTC but a coolpad. Built quality is poor (i would give 2 stars) , very cheap plastic is used all over the phone even the silver borders that you see are plastic in nature. Picture quality is okish if not bad giving it a 2.5 stars , same goes for sound . The overall lag in phone is consistent after a few months of use , not suggested for gaming . Camera is rubbish in its overall performance .

Mobile quality is average compare to other brand in same price.
Screen quality and battery life is good.

Cons:
1. Spare parts not available in easily market and also from company.
2. Company charges very high for spares like battery.

It worked fine for around 2 years 3.0 stars
It worked fine for around 2 years, but now the speaker suddenly stopped working. Also, it has one "Cool Show" app which neither gets disabled nor can be stopped and it keeps complaining that this is a harmful app. This is annoying part and also may not be good from security point of view. This APP is system app and whatever I do, it just does not stop and my phone keeps showing that this is harmful app. This app has access to all functionalities of the device and hence it may not be good from security point of view.
