people who are complaining about the ui just download nova launcher or any other third party launcher but even Navi ui is very good i don't know why people are complaining about it.

First things first, Replaced Amigo with Nova launcher - now runs butter-smooth on Android 4.2.

I didn't buy this from FlipKart but from another site. What I immediately like is the way Gionee gives interesting goodies alongwith the phone. specially very good quality cover for such a nice black bar phone.

I guess, Gionee has done some kind of magic with the screen. it gives a heavenly feeling looking at the screen and touching it ! I was a die hard Samsung Note lover and after shattering it...

Its like woow...

Ordered the Gionee Elife E7 from flipkart & using the In A Day delivery option got it delivered to me. At first, was very apprehensive on spending 27k+ on this unheard of mobile company. But the risk was totally worth it.
Have been using this mobile for over a month now.
No major issues.
Very good battery life. (easily lasts more than 1 day; unless you are a power user)
Excellent crisp display.
Stunning camera. Even the front 8 MP cam is brilliant.
No lag issues while playing any of the game...

Actually this phone was gift from my wife. So I am using it. But within few days of usage i noticed few problems. No doubt its a great phone but think before buying it for 25k.

Problems:
1) Telugu keyboards are not working (Hindi ok).

2) Their amigo launcher is not at all bearable (they tried to copy MIUI one and is utterly bullshit). There is no way to sort applications or search. No valuble launcher settings too. No folder creation but after trying so many times you can actually group app...

I have the 3Gb version of this phone.
One of the most excellent pieces i have used for quiet some time now. NO problems at all. There are some issues for those who want to use it for Android app development (i wanted it for that) as there are no ADB drivers for this one around. but doing google and all can help in that regard.
Phone and CPU performance is excellent. firmware is very nice as it switches the CPUs offline when not needed thus conserving battery. Battery life is normal and lasts...
