Decent phone with minor glitches. could have been a flagship phone. 3.0 stars
I bought this phone in June and am quite satisfied with its performance only wishing that it could have been a bit more. Hope they will fix it in the second generation if ever they come up with one.
First off with the pros:
1) Excellent full HD AMOLED screen. Watching movies and playing games is visual treat, and no it is not SUPER AMOLED as SUPER-AMO is proprietary of Samsung. wiki it.
2) Super-thin pocket-friendly frame.
3) Classy premium looking glass back.

CAUTION !! HEATING PROBLEM 3.0 stars
I bought this phone(Gionee s5.5, Black) few days ago from flipkart. looking wise its Sooooo beautiful, But in this phone the heating problem brokem my heart. it heats too much when use Games like TEEN PATTI ETC, and on mobile-data(Internet turn on) use tooo. if gionee resolv this heating problem this phone could be best and beautiful in the WORLD..!!!

This phone is getting so hot on using for 15 min,
Battery back up is not up to the satisfaction level
while look wise is best.
Harmful Radiations is LESS.
Single sim slot is not good now a day.
