HTC desire 816 really able to fulfill your desire for a beautiful and worthy smartphone. Its spec, design and usefulness will easily beat any other mid-range smartphone available in market.
The only thing I miss in this phone is gorilla glass protection. But that isn't an issue as there are plenty of option to choose for screen protection.

Used it for more than 3 years. One of best phones designed by HTC. Still working with good battery life and snappy performance under low specs.

Worthy to buy this Phone having amazing 13 MP camera, htc "zoe" is unique in gallery of phone. The photography is too good but again selfie is not upto the mark, again good for skype video call and some social media. Htc is designing with best enginnering not with mass production, but pricing is like sensex as i have buy from ezoneonline at 21850/- before month, actually it was of 23850 got a code from registration worth 2000/- and flipkart price is too much and after sony xperia c3 launchin...

Its an awesome phone or phablet whatever you say. If you have this kinda budget, the I'd always recommend this phone. Very good for moderate user. Haven't tried hd game yet. Its a brand you can always rely on it, and can spend money. I'd add it's better than Iphone5s, and nexus. Compare yourself then decide.

PROS

Gaming is good-heavy gaming is just a cakewalk!!(but dont load more than 4 heavy games)
Camera is exceptinal- especialyy the selfie rocks!!
No Lagging as it has a 1.5 GB RAM!!
Battery remains fr minimum a day after extensive usage

CONS
At times the auto rotate feautures do not wrk well
HTC shud have a given an option of transfering games to SD card!!


Overall its a gud performing smart phone!!!!

does this phone has wireless connection to TV optio like Miracast. i would like to buy the phone but i definitly want a phone that would connect to TV with wireless option...

last monday bought it from local shop by Rs.22400.its excellent set.

8. battery is ok for me.

Everything is good..but iam disappointed with camera when flash mode is on...Image is more brighter than it appears...

This is my first smart phone ...It has just passes 2 yrs using this HTC Desire phone ...
Till now there is no issue with this mobile ..
But compare to now days mobile phones, only problem is with less internal memory that also 8 gb..!!
