I have ordered this phone few days before, the specification says it has corning gorilla glass 3. but over the net i have read that HTC desire 820 has LCD capacitive display. Also with the phone I didn't find bill inside the box.

The cam quality is not good as 13 Mpxl. as while zooming the images looses its quality.

Don't think just go for it

Don't want to compare "HTC Desire 820" with other smart phone even from 2nd Gen. Just WoW on holding this product in hands.

Performance...as never seen till now in other smartphones.

Excellent phone... but overheats to 51 degrees as shown in the cpu z app.... more near camera area and headset.... HTC get an update....

I would like to compare the mobile with Nexus 5 . Nexus 5 is 1080p display and htc 820 is 720p display . both have same RAM and Processor . except Htc 820 has an octa core processor . Which i believe is more than what you need to run a Smartphone .

Nexus 5 uses snapdragon 800 while the newly released HTc desire 820 uses only - snapdragon 615 which could have been better .

Dont purchase HTC brand. It is worst. Dont spare your money for HTC. Within 1.5 year almost 70 to 80 % user are facing motherboard problems. When you will be going to the service center those people are saying you have to changed motherboard.

Been using Windows mobile for last 2 years and finally decided to shift to Android, mainly because the specs, camera and screen size I wanted weren't available at a decent price point in Windows. Was blown away by the looks of the HTC Desire 816 and furthermore by the Desire 820. After lot of self debate decided to buy the HTC Desire 820. Been using it for a few days now.

I am an avid HTC Fan and I have used HTC One X and HTC One and I must say that HTC makes great smartphones. Here I ll give pros and cons.

FEATURES::

PROCESSOR:: This is an octa core device clocked at 1.5 GHz (4 cores), 1 GHz (4 cores) and which makes the phone really smooth to use.

DESIGN ::Design is again a plus point. No one designs phones like HTC , period. The white color looks stunning with double tone colors.. (Look at samsung devices, they are pathetic)

CAMERA :: Desire 820 sports...
