First of all, before commenting on this phone, you first need to have a look at the handset physically, I am sure you are just gonna fall in love with this device. The phone is very very sleek and very well built, it can definitely give very tough competition even for an iphone..

The pricing is a little on a higher side, but most of the flagship phones this year are having the similar costing.

Shifter from note 3 ...and was waiting for s5 if only it was sd801 but since again Samsung cheated Indian consumer i dumped it for htc one m8...n got it on 30 apr... and its absolutely stunning.... and battery with my use lasted 1day 4 hours... where as with same usage my note 3 lasted 8 hours...so its stunningly beautiful and amazingly fast... n yes for cam its amazing... see my page "mobile cam's" on fb... i luv this m8..amazing fone..worth every penny

HTC One M7 won laurels at MWC,an event where most tech savvy people meet to see and discuss latest moblie tech. And finally HTC got a worthy successor to it in form of M8.I need not explain you pros and cons(r der any real cons??) as for that reviews from iGyaan,MKBHD and Android Authority exist and you must see them. I usually dont write reviews, but look at what Gaurav Raj (Seems like a samsung employee) has written as a 'might help' thingy.... i thought of writing a review of the HTC One M8 phone, and a reply to gaurav's so called review, based on which which people (of course with that budget) would decide to buy or not.

I want to share some things.

1.width matters , for one handed use, bezels are big on sides...

Pros :
1. Boom sound front firing stereo speakers and built-in amplifiers. These are the BEST speakers you can enjoy in a smartphone, period. It should be and will be a standard feature in a smartphone in future.
2. Gorgeous uni body build, a true FLAGSHIP phone feel.
3. Snapdragon 801 unlike S5 which comes with stupid Exynos (in India).
4. Dual LED & dual tone flash.

Cons :
1. No water and dust proofing.
2. No 4K recording, IOS, Zoom, loss of details when image is cropped due to low resolut...

HTC is famous for manufacturing some of the best smartphones....rich user experience, great design....HTC M8 is no different


HTC M8's design is sleek and aesthetic....No other phone comes near it...M8 mobs it's floor with S5.

HTC M8's overall user experience is the best....sense 6 in true sense is like - 'Sixth Sense'

New gestures to operate phone is user friendly and is a welcome tweak - unlike gimmicky features@Galaxy line.

HTC One M8 has better hardware, overall. The S5 of indian version is not good but is water resistant, which is a huge plus (getting caught in the rain, shower steam...), but the M8 is just more pleasant to hold for day to day use, without a case, at least.

HTC has promised two full years of updates for the One M8, so they've clearly learned from their mistakes, or claim they have.

Now first things first........pretty hefty price tag for a phone but does it justify the tag and the answer is absolutely a big satisfactory yes!!!!
1) The design of the phone is the main clinching point of the deal and feels absolutely luxurious in the hand (you need to see and feel it in person).....that cold feeling you get when you pick up your phone in in morning is unmatched by a samsung or sony or even an iphone

2) Now lets talk about the software and its another plus to htc its nippy...

Excellent specs ,bench-marks .Tops almost all the ratings in most of the recent reviews.
Priced competitively to S5 and Z2 i guess.
