By default it has Android 6 marshmallow. You have to update to Android 7 nougat which will show up after few small updates. The updates will be shown only after sim card is inserted.

Finger print sensor is a button, So it's possible to click that button and double click so there is some by default actions u can perform with sensor button.

does honour 8 support jio sim and jio volte out of the box or i have to connect to someone's wifi because my jio sim will not be supported and i have to update .. ??
There is an update on Honor8 to support JIO Sim. First you need to update your phone from some wifi and then use JIO on it. If I were you, i wouldnt use JIO sim on this phone, there are some issues
