Dislike on touch

Phone not working.... terrible product

Everything is okay except heating problem even in normal use.specially sound of mobile is pleasant to listen.

I recently purchased Karbonn K9 Music 4G Phone.
My first hand review might be useful to those who want to buy a good ph which does not cost heaven.

Original cost when it was introduced in dec 17 was 4999 but now reduced to 3780.

I thought it reasonable looking to the reduction in price. My past experience ( Like most others, )
was not very encouraging in buying costly phones. For the simple reason,

1 costliest phones have one or the other important features missing, " Costliest means perfect " is not really true.
2 Technology changes so fast that today's so called costliest and the most advanced ph becomes out dated in no time
3 Operating system is not up gradable beyond one or two level, forcing users to buy new phones.( not like computers, where you can install and upgrade OS yourself. )
4 phones with high specification on paper, turns out to be quite poor in actual performance at times.
5 More and more phones are coming with non removing type batteries forcing you to throw away ph after 2to 3 years, and buy new ph. it is a sales gimmick
6 Ring volume is so low in most of the phones today. you cant listen incoming call ring even in next room.

My main requirement was, 4G, OTG, 5 inch screen , Removable battery, Auto Focus camera to scan QR code in web.whatsapp.com, Dedicated Dual Sim with slot for memory card, very High ringer and media volume was my top priority

My review after few days use,,,,

5 Auto Focus camera 4/5 the photo and video quality is just fine. It focuses and scans QR code easily in web.whatsapp.com
In fact,the cost of phone is mainly decided on camera quality. Here, Camera is much better in relation to the money you are spending. I don't expect high end camera features and quality at this price. And that is not my basic requirement also. I am fully satisfied with this camera.
6 Speaker Volume 5/5. More than satisfied with Loud and clear volume of rings and media. My life long search of High ring volume and media volume requirement is fully fulfilled for the first time here. I will carefully preserve this phone as life time companion.
7 The best surprising feature I Liked is that IT HAS SCREEN CAST feature. Really an unbelievable GIFT by Karbonn.

The only negative, I believe, is that Bingo search engine is fixed on one of the home screen. You can not stop or uninstall it. However it is on -1 Home screen and not irritating in any way. I believe, cost is subsidized by Bingo search engine. This may be the reason why battery wears out even in stand by mode. For safety, keep internet off when not required.

Phone life of almost all phones comes to an early end due to failure of charging socket , volume and on/off switch wear. To safe guard my ph against these failures,
I have adopted following ways and means . I hope, it will be very useful for all mobile ph users to protect their phones by using these techniques.

1 I purchased 2 extra batteries( Buy ERD Brand or other good brand ) of this phone and keep them fully charged by using universal mobile battery charger available in the market in rs 70 to 80 . Whenever Ph battery is worn out, I remove back cover and fit the spare battery and put the discharged battery in universal charger and keep it in my pocket again for future replacement. In other words, my ph is always fully charged and ready. No held up due to
charging problem. I never have to use charging socket of my phone and therefore no wear on it. I rarely use it for data transfer to pen drive by usb otg cable supplied in the box.

2 I never use volume rocker switch. To increase or decrease volume, I use application like easy volume control etc through which you can increase or decrease volume by sliding on screen controls. Therefore no physical use of volume switch

3 To switch on or switch off the ph, I use application " Gravity Screen " . Application switches of screen automatically after some time and to restart the screen, simply swipe in air on the screen. application uses The proximity senser and switches on the screen again. this will save wear and tear of ON/OFF switch.

4 I purchased a diary type mobile cover to save it from scratches to body or camera lense.

Summary: you can surely think to buy it . I give it 4 star in general Special thanks to Amazone and supplier for very quick delivery in perfect condition

This phone and Amazon service both are bad and untrustable.
Please don't order from here otherwise you will got loss of your money like me.
