This is a great product for the price you pay (11k apprx.) . Net if filled with features and benefits.. I will just share my unique experience: 1. Delivery was quick and efficient. Thanks, Amazon! 2. Product has required features (Youtube in the background takes the cake!!!) 3. I had a few touch issues with the screen and GPS was not recording correctly in Strava, NRC etc. I tolerated it for almost 6 months and then called up LAVA. They sent a service engineer to my home and resolved the issues by flashing ROM. Lava has come up with this great FREE doorstep service wherein service engineer comes with a laptop and tries to resolve the issues. If not resolved he would take the handset to the service center. The service engineer was very professional, courteous and knowledgable. New version should be better!! Buy it if you are looking for a cost-effective handset!

Indian brand phone Good quality, Amaging speed, camara quality good, batry backup good, video and sound quality good. Overall it is goos.

Battery, touch, feel, look-design, clean android os absolutely amazing, above all- the pricing. But camera is a matter of concern, average photo even in daylight. Good phone for moderate use I must say.

Camera Pros and Con Con- Under low light conditions the pictures come out overly lit up, resulting in the images loosing saturation. For example a setting Sun still in the sky having a beautiful orange glow comes out bland with a lightish yellow tint. At other times close up pictures in low light has over saturated colours. Pictures even in normal light conditions are some times bland. Zoomed images are good but macro images are not satisfactory. Interestingly the video images are sharper compared to still photos in both Photo and portrait modes. For example the fine prints on a grocery item pack looks blurry when taken as a still image. Same fine prints when shot close up with video looks amazingly crisp!! Video images are not only crisp but also well saturated under bright ligt conditions. However the colour of the images, especially the green looks highly artificial, tried repeatedly. Pros- Amazingly sharp and crystal clear videos even under medium to low light conditions. The phone video camera completely lives up to its claim of FHD images. A phone with a low price tag of around 11K has such high end tech features like 2 k videos and EIS is unbeleivable. 2 k Videos- Not too distinct from the Full HD video output, but still brandishing such high end video quality adds more value to the gadzet. The only down side here is the internal memory card provided. The Micro SD card is not capable of handling 2k pressure, because of which the 2k videos are jumpy and takes all the fun out of an otherwise sharp featured videos. For K quality videos an sd card of class 10 or above should have been provided. EIS- Electronic image stabilisation is a feature mentioned only with the high end SLRs and prof Video cams. Lava Blaze 5 brandishing EIS feature came as a surprise. Curiosity got the better of me, and so bought this phone. Videos taken in walking motion comes out smooth with no jerks. Thus EIS makes this phone worth buying, especially for those who are avid video enthusiasts. I think this phone is designed by keeping outdoor vloggers in mind. Serves the purpose! Multitasking: Apart from the camera, one feature I have liked the most is its Background streaming feature, which I am sure many high end 30 K plus phone also dont have in them. So you can browse the net, fiddle around with other apps all the while your you tube podcast is playing in the background. At the end missing my old mobiles capacity to wake up with a gentle tap on the screen. Lava Blaze 5 needs to be pressed at the side to make it wake up. Though the phone is sensitive enough to wake up the moment you lift it from its resting place. But this feature works often when not needed or doesn't work when it should. Not being taken as a con however.
