In terms of performance it is a good phone. great speed, otg supported apps can install in SD card. battery backup is good last for 1 day.

But the main concern is about call quality and network

Call quality is pathetic. you cant hear properly, voice is cracking in calls.
Signal dropping is big issue in this phone, I never had call drop issue with my mobile service provider but last 4 days i am having this issue and really dissapointed.

I would say not to buy this phone due to below reasons

1. Build quality is worst & backpanel if very thin and it will break while opening
2. Camera is utter waste, although they say Primary is 8 MP
3. Its more weight compared to other phones
4.Speaker is worst, very poor quality & couldn't hear outside

Very good phone. Loved multitasking and display. Decent front camera too. Awaiting Android L update. No heating problem while using cam. Worth for money

Pro:
1. Performance is really good.

Cons:
1. Battery cannot be removed.
I am saying this as a "problem" because for me it happened that I tried to install an android update and the phone came to bootloader screen. The update was not compatible so it didnt install and then phone was stuck on that screen. There was no way to come out. Power button was also not working. In this case, if battery can be removed, it would have been easier.

UPDATE 2:
The network problem was seems to be sim card related. I replaced the vodafone simcard and its working fine now. Though at some places 3g speed is a tad slower. Also camera problem seems to be software related. You need a super steady hand to capture a good photo. Even with slightest movement camera looses focus. I hope lava will sort out this issue on lollypop update. Else mobile is working strong.

I have ordered this phone but found that my local retail shop are selling the same product at lower price along with extra scratch guard screen and flip cover.
Flipkart has not mentioned regarding non-removable battery, SIM slots type (Mini/Regular), data cable.
Waiting for more reviews..... by certified buyers...
I hope the cons mentioned by other buyers are taken into note by Flipkart.
Just cancelled my ordered within 24 hrs.

First handset received was having issues with touch. I guess it may be happened in the transportation as I could see a dent on the box, but received the replacement in just one day.

LOOK : 10/10 (It resembles Apple brand, also lava is written in vary small font)

OTG : 10/10 It supports up to 1 TB of external device.

TOUCH : 9/10

BATTERY : 8/10 (2500 mAh, plus point is that it is made of Li polymer but non-removable)

SOUND : 6/10 (Not much supportive)

CAMERA : 8/10 (Good results)

So overall it is the best phone for 8999/-
Flipkart delivers it in one day to your destination.
So go for Lava Iris X8 rather than Yureka or Redmi Note.
