Continuously hanging. while using apps its coming back to home screen and taking time to come normal. Charger is heating. Over all money waste.

This is my first purchase from flipkart, strictly speaking it is a first online shopping on flipkart. before buying i was tensed whether the decision of buying lenovo a6000 is correct or not. praying to god i booked this phone on flash sale.
after 10 days of usage . i am writting this.

Hi guys, I purchased lenovo a6000 a month ago. Its working fine, but I want you to be aware of few things about this mobile.


Pros.

1. Large 5 Inch HD Display
2. Dolby speakers (You cant take the advantage without a premium headset though)
3. Good 8 MP (Front facing Camera)
4. Light weight
5. Good Battery backup (given me 1 1/2 day on an average usage).
6. Affordable Price (Good value for money )

Cons.
1. Vibe UI ( I didn't like Lenovo's optimization over stock android). boz its buggy,

You can put 'n' number of cheap and attractive specs in a phone. But you can't compromise on the basic necessity just because the price is less. Better increase the price and give better quality products.

After a month's use-
- The WORST signal reception. Other Chinese phones fetch better signal.
- Overheats during charging. You don't have to touch it. It emits heat around 2-3 CMs.
- Defective music software. Same problem with this replacement product also.
- Unbearable heat during calls - 1...

RAM is too low (400 MB) and hangs too often. UI is also confusing hence I Don't suggest to go for this:-(. better go for Windows mobile. i have sold this to another person as i am not satisfied with this, and bought Lumia 730 which is very good (of course Lumia 730 is 14K, this Lenovo is 7K) but i am not talking about the price. even with 6K Lumia 520 or 8K Lumia 535 also performs very well. im just considering about the OS and performance. This is my opinion only.Thanks for having a glance.

Firstly, I am shocked to see over 16% buyers unhappy with the product!!

I purchased first phone during the 1st flash sale and noticed that I was having NO NETWORK COVERAGE on my Airtel 4G enabled sim while my another handset (Nokia Lumnia 730) with similar type Sim and on same network had full coverage.

I saw three different network modes in the handset:

1. LTE/WCDMA/GSM
2. WCDMA/GSM
3. GSM

I selected the second option and started getting coverage but its is loosing connectivity aga...

just buy the product...if you worried about 1 gb ram , i can assure you that it is not of any problem. you can play heavy games without any lag...not even a minor one.

superb battery life almost 5 days normal calling
2 days with 2g and 1.5 days with 3 g
excelent camera both very slim look after long time value for money i really thanks to lenovo

I bought this mobile 1 week back. From the day one charger is not working.I raised a complaint with flipkart they responded after 4days and they said they will replace with alternative charger(not the lenovo's) in 10 days, I am yet to recieve it.

call hearing sound is poor, if u r outside it is very diffuclt to hear what the other guy is speaking on phone.

Lenovo please...

Battery do not last 3-4 hr after full charge..there are lots of people experiencing the same issue.
rest is all good..... big mistake buying this cell
