it is waterproof or not?
yes for sure I tested it. But you have to clean it with dry cloth after bringing it out of water and shake for several time so that the water comes out completely

portrait mode and dslr effect are basically same also known as bookeh effect. g6 doesnt has this instead the secondary lens is a wide angle lens that gives you extra wide view from same position.

None. As of March 2018, It's Pixel 2 that has one of the highest rated camera. That may change once S9 releases. All cost nearly double of what the G6 costs. G6 is pretty VfM with decent cam though.

yup..it certainly blur's the image background, but has no portrait mode. if in case there's a comparison between one plus 5 and G6, I'll certainly choose one plus 5!! wide angle lens in G6 is THE BE$T
