The phone's rating as of now is 3.7 stars. What makes it so bad?
Just the low light performance of front cam which is a 100% software issue and can be easily fixed with a single software update.Rest in all sections the rating is around 4.5(Display, performance,etc)

With sofware update back camera is much improved but it's focuz is shallower maybe due to bigger sensor

You can use Gcam which would be available soon, or most probably moto will release some update

camera quality is good or bad? Is it really like 32 mp camera?
I had moto x4 earlier with 16mp camera. That was better than this 32mp. Other than camera performance this mobile is fabulous.

9 hours plus I mean i get 8-9 hours easily even with a little bit of gaming and a lot of youtube and Instagram

Which phone is better edge 20 fusion or pixel 4a
I have both moto edge 20 fusion & pixel but camera performance of pixel is much much better than any of the phone in this price range. If u love the size of pixel then go for it else buy edge20 fusion
