You can browse for places offline. Aftr downloading maps of your state.. 2. You can download HERE MAPS. it allows you offline navigation also...For maps and navigation don't fear .. Nothing more simple than Nokia

Last month purchase nokia lumia 530 mobile but use time heating problem every half & hour & bettery down in 30 minute
Sorry Bro but i didn't face this kind of problem yet.So maybe it is manufacturing defect.You should go to service center.
