Review after a week of very moderate use I m not using at that level but what I have used i m reviewing the phone is hanging a bit with low usage too and the dial pad vanishes after a call is made I have to switch off and switch on the phone to start using dial pad while on call battery life is not as expected OnePlus 5t with low battery was working much longer then this actually in phn app are using to much battery I have tried stopping them but they turn back on In all not satisfied with the hype this phone created

OnePlus phones are being Made in India, keeping false patriotism aside, that itself means what youre getting is crap. The models they manufacture in house in their China factory for export to the world are way better quality and PCB/board is made to meet the international specs and there are no cold solder joints to be found anywhere. Secondly, those are manufactured in controlled lint free environment and packaged using electrostatic free gloves and VDE equipment. All this is lacking here in their Indian facility. I've purchased 3 different gen phones which were Made in India and all of them had fingerprints (Yes on a new phone and I'm OCD and like to keep my phones fingerprint free) and poor quality of assembly, some even had micro defects in the LED panel if you looked closely and upon contacting their customer support regarding these issues, they denied completely saying that everything is made as per their Chinese facility and there is no difference at all. One of them even said, if the phone is working fine then it's not a defect. They're not even aware of what quality control means. Hasselblad branding on OnePlus phones is a huge scam. Upon digging further I found out that they've paid money to Hasselblad to only use their name while there is actually NO tuning done by Hasselblad at all! It's the biggest marketing gimmick being played by this Chinese Brand of phones. Hasselblad cameras are a big name in camera world and cost millions of dollars. If these camera were actually tuned by Hasselblad, you wouldn't be getting such low quality images. Also remember, more pixels doesn't mean more quality. It's the opposite. The more pixels you cram on to a small sensor, the more noise there is and lower the image quality. That's why Apple phone use lesser pixels and produce better images, although Google Pixel 6 Pro have mastered this in their new phone and make better images than Apple phones in all kinds of light. I repeat, DO NOT go by the Hasselblad branding, it's just a paid advertisement to increse sales. Hasselblad tuned camera phones will be able to rival the quality of DSLRs but that is just not the case here. OnePlus camera quality is the same since their 7T generations. Be aware guys, don't fall prey to their scams. Had it been a sub 10k phone, I could still live with this filthy quality and attitude of their CS reps. But for anyone willing to buy this phone at this price, please do consider GOOGLE PIXEL 6 Pro 5G. That is the best Android phone money can buy at the moment. The camera quality of that phone is better than Apple iPhone 13 Pro and video quality is at par in most cases. Moreover, they're using their own processor which means everything works seamlessly instead of working around a third party hardware like other brands are doing. The build quality, fit & finish is way better than Samsung, OnePlus, Oppo, and even Apple if I must say. For the same price, you get better build quality, support a legit manufacturer (and not a Chinese company) and way better jump in Camera quality over it's rivals while still paying the same or lesser price at some places. At the end of the day, it's your money, your choice. I returned my OnePlus for a Google Pixel 6 Pro and the UI and OS is as close to stock as possible and there are no glitches that are so common with OnePlus these days. Lastly, OnePlus is not spending money on R&D these days, an unofficial source told me. Instead, they're using their customers to buy their phones and tell them what's wrong and that's how they're working on the issue which still are many. They call it "Community Program" but it's nothing but a fancy of using customers as Guinea Pigs and not having to for R&D. OnePlus is making huge profits off of unaware customers who're buying these phone blindly, but literally these phones are not worth more than 15-20k. Still OnePlus is able to sell these for almost a lakh due to fancy marketing and unaware or ignorant customers. Beware of OnePlus is all I would say. The more we support this Chinese brand, the more we end paying in the long run.

Phone getting heated soon during its use. Battery got exausted by evening. Uneasy to talk because of its heat.
