It's been around 4 months I'm using this device. Now era is changing with notch display and all. Still I consider it as a great device. For both good and bad.

Good:
Processor - It never hung up or slowed down.
Camera - Better than others in this price range.
Battery - 1 full day with moderate usage and 2 days with minimal usage.
OS - Simple and powerful

Bad:
No Fingerprint sensor ( Face recognition is too good until you have darkness around you)

So if you get it within 10K, still can consider this device.

After seeing the reviews in amazon i have purchased this mobile. I am writing this review after using this mobile from 5days.... let me describe the minus points 1st:

cons / minus points:

1) the biggest drawback i noticed there is no right click option (menu) in this mobile.. if u long press it will either take to multiple windows / minimize the screen,,,, but no option for 'right click menu'

2)mobile interface is not that user friendly when compared to lineage OS... It will not allow you swipe the notifications from notifications bar.. You have to always use a 'cross / clear' button to clear the notifications which is some what irritating..

3)for few of the files we cannot directly long press... we have to 1st click select & then manually select files 1 by 1

pros:
1) overall performance is gud... i am not a heavy gamer .. i run normal apps..so mobile does not lag / heats up
2) battery life ,display i can say its gud.. i have charged only once it will easily last for almost 1 day
3) camera quality : i took some selfies, photos but haven't checked thm in PC yet .. but pics quality seems to be gud...
4) sound quality : gud .....

overall color OS is the disadvantage for this mobile because of its few limitations....i feel oppo should use lineage OS in this mobile ..

Camera is not good

Absolutely no regrets, reasons:
1. Memory Management: I had read that there was a major controversy about this, closing of all apps, in rest mode, even those apps which we want to keep alive, but there is a way around it, took me sometime to find the solution, and now keeping alive 2 apps, which were frequently closed down.

2. Sound: Super sound.

3. Battery Life: Refer to Memory Management. Charged the battery till 95% at 11:00 pm, and then the next day at 6:00 am, it was 93%.

There may be some cons in this mobile, but even the most expensive mobiles have cons in them, and I never concentrate on the cons. For this price, I got a super smart mobile, and I am more then happy with it.

I am doing this review after using the phone for more than 10 days.

After doing a lot of research online, watching youtube video reviews, my search finally came down to Realme 1 and Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1. I could see a lot of issues reported by numerous users with respect to Asus and the one that I was bit concernd about was battery drain in idle. Realme had no such reports. Moreover Helio P60 is quite robust and good enough for my day to day activities. I am not a gamer. Going ahead Android apps would be upgraded with more capabilities and functionalities which eventually would lead to more resource intensive apps demanding more processing power and ample Ram and Helio P60 coupled with 4gb of Ram would suffice the need.
I have always been a loyal customer to Xiaomi but this piece made my perception to change. Bit disappointed with pricing as Amazon has reduced the price further by 500 now compared to what I had bought 10 days before. I quickly got a hang with face unlock and yes, it works fast enough. For my usage battery lasts more than a Day. If I charge around 90% I would be left around 10% on my next day. My usage with camera is limited, so I am good with it. Visibility under direct sunlight is very poor but I can live with it as I mostly work indoors. Absence of Notification light makes it bit difficult for first few days when you are transitioning from one with Notification to Realme1.

In short, I would say at this price this is the best phone in this segment which can deliver performance equivalent to higher end phones. Very good Ram management, decent battery, attractive build, decent pair of cameras. Also, need not worry about future upgrades as the hardware specifications are quite future ready. Nokia 5.1 plus is another such phone which has similar configurations(Stock android and very good battery management though the capacity is just 3000mah).

I would surely survive with this phone for next 2-3 years. Except Battery which I might have to change and would like to see Realme releasing a replacement battery with higher capacity. I am not sure about their after sales service but I stay in one of the metros and it should be good.

@Realme - As a suggestion I would like to see below improvements/enhancements,
1. Better battery management. Idle battery drain is around 1% for 6hrs night duration but still I would like to see an option in ColorOS for aggressive battery doze option.
2. A replacement battery with higher capacity.
3. Improved camera performance.
4. Regular updates/improvements/security patches.
5. Future android version updates.

I was looking for a budget phone when this model got launched.. & to be honest I haven't used it much as I bought it to gift my father. As per his experience it a pretty good deal within this amount. A decent camera & good battery life keep my father's experience positive with this phone. I have downloaded some games & they are working pretty well. So yeah.. all & all it's worth it.

This is best phone in the given price range. I got this just for 11 k through offer. here is my opinion on this product after using for 3 weeks.
pros:
1. phone with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB Space in given price range in definitely a good value for money offer. Don't go for 4GB - 64GB version when you are getting 6GB-128 GB in such cheap price.
2. good display, fast processing via 2.0 octa core processor.
3. good camera quality in given price range. Beautify tool is very good for taking quality pics.
4. nice look, clear sound in voice calls as it has powerful signal receptor.

cons:

1. one think I personally miss the most is fingerprint scanner. face unlock feature is good but does now work in very low lighting conditions. so need to use pin to unlock while in dark.
2. it doesn't have gorilla glass. but this drawback can be overcome by using good phone back and screen cover.

First of all I would like to thank Amazon for the good delivery, in just 3-4 days . The device has a very powerful processor(Mediatek Helio P60) so it will give you a amazing experience. The back camera does not detect image so clear, battery is okay nd missing fingerprint is a big issue for me. Overall, I would recommend you to buy this product. REALME ROCKS
