On the surface, the Galaxy A7 might look like a solid premium midranger from Samsung. Triple camera, glass design, AMOLED display, and all the specs, look really good on paper. However, once you scratch the surface, there are some flaws present. There is no USB-C or fast charging of any sort (last year's A7 had USB-C, so that's a downgrade) and there is no IP68 rating (also present in 2017 A7).
