A9 has better battery backup than c7. however weight is also slightly higher

Is it worth buying in October 2017 as the model has been launched in March 2016. I mean in the next year that is 2018 it may look outdated.
4gb ram, Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processer, 4G volte, gorilla glass front & rear with 5000mh battery, i think the specifications and features it has, it ll take more years to be outdated in India.
