The phone maybe the best looking from the samsung household but compare it with its brother S5 and you would notice that S5 is better than the alpha in all parameters......bigger screen, better camera, etc.Where S5 lags is the internel memory(can be expanded externally) and the front camera(a mere 0.1 MP difference).......there is no point in spending 5-6k extra when you can get S5 at a cheaper rate and better specs......no sense in investing in making your samsung premium.......samsung doesn...

WoW this is called Suicide, i see a company once a leader now want to commit suicide by launching useless products in the market. I am sure the battery runs out in 4 to 5 hrs even with moderate use.
While the market is looking at products close to 3000mah, your 1860mah is a chumma and so you should give free powerbank along with phone :P

Well, my colleague has it and it is a good phone.
But all I can say is :

Check out the MRP, compare it with the other phones in that range. You'll be disappointed.
It may feel premium but it looks almost like the other phones Samsung offers from low price segment to high.

I had chance to have demo in a showroom.
Pros:
Phone is looking nice. Lean design (I like the GOLD color much!) . metal body is awesome. At-last samsung did it!
Display clarity is very good.
Performance is also pretty good.
Camera is nice

Cons:
High in price
Poor battery spec.
Exposed rear camera (some may not like this, it's to achieve the lean design!)
Display size should be at-least 5 inches (4.7 is OK !)

I bought this phone from some contacts in Samsung company for a highly discounted price (I Know, I just got lucky with this thing)

I think apart from Price (should have been about 32K or less), this phone is perfect..

Seriously, you need to Hold this phone to know how Elegant and beautiful it is.

I certinly not regret buying this phone.. Hope this performance persists over time.
