Downsides are
1. No gorilla glass,
2. RAM could have been 2 GB (This is so in European model)

However, its a good buy for 12 K. Expecting more than this is not reasonable in this price segment from a reputed brand.

performance is good but true 720p is not running smoothly even a sony's dual core processor like xperia sp,l runs 720p smoothly,camera not as expected...gaming performance is worst...

1. superb display, crystal clear colors and good brightness to use outdoor.
2. screen responds to feather touch.
3. tested some racing games and mmorpg games, there is no lag. it runs smooth.
4. multi tasking is smooth even with game running background.
5. both camera is great. common this is not professional device for photoshooting, cant expect much from mid range phone.
6. battery backup is good and charges fast.
7. not heavy, so it dont slip out of hand that easily.

I have just received my samsung j5, but i am disappointed as the phone is not working properly when using dual sims.
Firstly, the phone do not rings on incoming calls either on sim 1 and sim 2
Secondly, when i am doing outgoing calls it does not ask which sim should i use. ( I had already set the option "to ask everytime")

I received this product from flipkart yesterday. I am so much satisfied with this mobile

--Phone is so smooth to use & fast (1.5 gb ram but its working like 2 gb ram)
--Battery is also good (My earlier phone lenovo a6000 use to drain without use, this one is solid)

Gold colour of this phone is the striking feature. It looks very beautiful and unique apart from the traditional white and black. From distance it will appear as metallic even though the back cover is very thin plastic. But the side frames are real metal.
The display is awesome and none other manufacturers can match the display quality of Samsung. The colours are vivid and rich. Watched trailer videos in youtube and it looked so clear and vibrant. Best in this margin.

Amazing phone in this price range. Beautiful snaps from both the lenses. Go for it if you are a hardcore Samsung Fan.. :)

Do not waste your money for buying Chinese Mobiles.
