i seriously dont know why the reviews on flipkart are not good about this phone. from my experience i vud suggest this phone to u.

i have been using mega 5.8 over 2 months and i personally found no issues with it,
good for multimedia and gaming , handles your every day task with ease
adequate ram supports smooth functioning,
battery easily lasts over 12 hours , for me it goes upto 36 hours with wifi n mobile data always on

I saw people writing very bad phone Samsung cheating us now AMOLED etc etc etc.

I have been using this phone from 3 weeks and it really impressed me, I switched to Mega from S3. Yes I agree it doesn't have AMOLED display. They TFT display is also very clear. When I using S3 I never enjoyed AMOLED display because of battery consumption, we will always reduce the screen brightness to increase standby what is the point if we don't have AMOLED.

i did not buy this smart mob(yet).... Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 is a huge 5.8 inches display, comes with latest Android 4.2.2 OS inside, dual core chip inside running at 1.4GHz clock speed and there is also 1.5GB RAM, eight gigabytes internal storage and 5.39GB is available for users,,,, Ppl usually get confused with these Samsung products! all look alike. Samsung doesn't give a premium look for a device above 20k(hmmm),, compare to grand this one is way better(i think)......... larger br...

Though this phone is discontinued by the manufacturer due to its awkward size which is not popular among users. At 18k price this phone offers almost all the features available in any premium range phones. I wanted to buy one more piece but it was available at a higher price and I settled with a Sony Xperia ZR white. I am supposed to receive the shipment from flipkart in a day or so.

this phone is so damn awesome guys!!!! those who post that this mobile is not good have probably never used it!!!!!!! ill say its better than any mobile at this range...gives u a premium look at the price of 22k..the only disadvantage i find is that the phone might feel huge at times...but its got its pros!!!!! i'd say GO FOR IT!!!!!

the beutifull display and fast processing this phone. the better 1.5 GB ram and most streming video playback and fast downloading video. and better Camera quality this phone in the class so no your mony wast this phone is very better other phone

In simple term, you can't ask more. The excellent features are available in unbeatable price. Amazing screen, Excellent phone I must say, even battery life is too good.
Samsung Glaxy Mega 5.8 is really a good phone. It's simply incredible.

Using for last two weeks Samsung Mega 5.8 with very good experience, Many others are writing without using this handset & compare with others. It has QVGA Clear Display with very good brightness feel beeter than Amoled screen which always looks darker. There are not any issues of low resolution when you viewing movies,surfing, playing games etc. as Samsung devolops these type of low cost PLS screens (former IPS) which is very bright & crystal clear. Sound quality is very good, Battery lastin...

2)size of the screen is really big 5.8'' of size.
3)ram 1.5gb, enough for multitasking and smooth operation.
4)8 gb rom but arroynd 5.45 gb available to user.
5)190 ppi density. not the best but clear enough.
6)phone hangs sometimes.
7)support big memory card.upto 64 gb.i m using 16 gb class 10 micro sd.
sound quality is good.
