Excellent phone with great value in the mid segment screen, the USP is big screen, must go for it. Great for watching movies, reading e books and play games. Don't criticize the phone for not having amoled screen as that cost more and for amoled screen go for NOTE-2

After doing lots of analysis on multiple mobile phones. I finally decided to buy Mega 5.8 This phone has captured my attention I am now waiting for the delivery....

Only drawback i see in this phone is Amoled screen. This would have added an advantage.

This phone is way better than Grand 2. Grand 2 is Manufactured by Samsung somewhere at UTTAR PRADESH in India. Quality of which is not up to the mark and price is high. So go for Mega 5.8 without hesitation before it's out of stock, because its production has been stopped.

i bought this phone from flipkart 3 days back its working brilliantly....but i felt little lack of display colors but bright is good....processor is very good it works smooth and nice..who cannot buy samsung s4 or note 2 ...this is the best phone mega 5.8,,,camera is just fantastic just loving to click photo and videos hd 1080p ...njoying while playing games in big screen and watching movies too ......graphics are okay...

After reading all these negative comments i decided to buy this phone bcos all i wanted was big screen. But to my surprise this phone is performing well. There are no lags in this phone. there is no need for quadcore processor or octacore bcos there are no softwares at present to make use of them.This phone can be called as 'Galaxy Grand 2 '
These are my observations;
1.Battery backup lasted for 2 days only with phone calls .with "wifi on" it will last for 29hrs.
2.Coulnt find any differenc...

SAmsung cheats the customers..i feel so retarded to have purchased the phone hoping it to be mega,turns out a piece of junk..Guys dont buy it,its old stuff put into a new case.bigger display is a problem to hold on to and not amoled....alll in alll it sucks
