Think twice before buying Samsung note 20 ultra

Poor battery life just 4 hrs after heavy use, heating issue costly just wastage of hard earned money. I contacted Samsung for replacement. No response from company.

Why Samsung, this time rate is all time super high but no protective case and usb dongle included....
Why the heck did you included empty boxes for it in package. You could have saved more money by not packing those empty boxes also.

Awesome Mobile

Galaxy note 20 ultra is amazing on look and performance of the back camera...taking a very long shots clearly visible and very nice. Samsung display quality always be the best.
Cons:
Needs to improve front camera.
Battery backup
They should give any screen quard in the box for mobile protection.

This phone gives the feel of luxury and royalty. The phone display is good , so is the camera . Heating problem will occur for 3-6 days this is intentional as the smart exynos will detect ur pattern and optimize ur battery extending battery life and performance , no heat problem now for me. This is more than a phone , spen features r amazing. I recommend artist or designer to buy this its a must . No money wasted. (I drew this)

Nothing competes Note series

The phone is masterpiece. It has everything that one businessman needs. I upgraded from Note8. Yes price is high, yes battery life is bit lesser, yes it's exynos but yes it has mind-blowing S-pen, it has the best camera, gaming is seamless, documentation on this phone is ease, display is the best I've ever seen, phone's speed and RAM management is best. Knox security, link to windows, Wireless Dex, AKG tuned sounds, and endless features are in list.
If one can afford it, you'll not regret. This is Samsung galaxy note 20 ultra, this is for uses not show off like Apple products.

Have always been an iOS user since 2012 . I would buy the latest iPhone every year in October, on day one !! I sold my iPhone Pro Max in 10 months to buy my first Android phone ever , the S20 Ultra . While it was a good phone with good battery life , somehow I wasn't happy with the overall experience. Gave it off in a month to buy the Note 20 Ultra .
I am not very technically qualified to comment on how great or bad this device is . All I can say is that this is a superb phone, much better than the overpriced iOS devices. Battery life is not as great as the S20 Ultra , but then that's also because you end up using this phone more extensively.
Awesome camera this has , even though this is a 6.9 inch device, it isn't a pain to use. But it's safer to use both hands . Some great features on this phone- connecting with your TV ( DeX) , windows link to phone and so on. Samsung also gives a factory installed screen guard , so one doesn't need to install one more after market ones.
What I felt could be better:
1- fingerprint scanner doesn't work seamlessly , one has to press hard
2- face recognition has its own way of working, doesn't recognize me at times when I try to unlock in the dark
I have the Samsung Clear Lens cover costing 3K INR plus . It might do well in protecting the device , but it's pathetic to hold.
I have always been a fan of leather cases , unfortunately I haven't found anything good enough to buy. The Samsung leather case looks great, but it doesn't cover the screen ( i have had an instance, where my earlier super expensive phone screen shattered inspite of having a thick screen guard and a leather case covering just the backside. Hence , it's important to go for a case that covers the screen also.
Android OS experience is mixed for me especially after using iOS for 10 years . I will still say iOS is best .
On multitasking, this phone is super . I just love it, and that's why probably the battery usage is more. There might be better phones out there, but my comparison is based on my iOS experience.
SPen - I am yet to figure this out completely, but reviews say this will make a world of difference once we learn how to use it.
On warranty, I was told that Samsung will not replace the device in case of any defects! They will repair. This is unacceptable for a flagship device. This is where Apple just rocks . They replace the device immediately if there is a hardware problem. I was told Samsung honors warranty repair only once a year ( not sure if i understood this right)
If you plan to keep the phone for long , it might make sense to invest in the Samsung 2 year extended warranty ( costs 8K INR for 2 years and covers device damage as well )
I have also invested in the Samsung 10000 wireless power bank ( which I feel is very ordinary, but I bought it as its from Samsung . Wireless charging takes ages and the overall charge doesn't look sufficient to charge my phone twice ). IF YOU BUY THIS POWERBANK, PLS BUY THE 15W CHARGER SEPARATELY, AS THE 25W CHARGER SUPPLIED WITH THE PHONE WILL DEFINITELY DAMAGE THE POWERBANK.
On accessories, most of the Samsung store guys seemingly have no clue on what is available. Will make sense to do your own research before spending on anything. Of all the things I missed, it was a leather folio from Samsung . Even outside, some of the " good " brands that make great leather folios for iPhones , do not have anything for this device. Amazon has many sellers claiming to be genuine leather , but I have serious doubts on what can be " genuine " leather for 1K INR
On Samsung customer care, they are useless . Most of them do not even understand what you are trying to convey.
To sum it up, this is a great device. This is pricey, but I will definitely recommend this to everyone iOS fan boys ( like me ) who will know what " smart" phones can actually do . With OS support promised by Samsung for 3 years from launch , this should be a good one to buy. Assuming there are no issues with hardware over this time.
