The most pathetic phone ever. I bought the phone for my mother. Within a months time, the speaker started giving issues. Had to take to service centre. Don't go for this product.

i received this phone on 31/10/18 and found charging port not functioning at all. then amazon call centre technical team was contacted on 1/11/2018 and they told me to install blancco app and checked phone and found my complaint genuine. then amazon personnel told me they would arrange to pick up defective item and after that they would refund/replace depending on availability of stock. till now i am waiting ... i expect amazon to respond positively.Return window closed on 10/11/2018. So i am not able to contact through web page to once again make return request.

Let me dive Right away into the review.
In one word: Terrible and not recommended
(Samsung fans don't get me wrong, I ain't against the brand but the phone)
Compared to Redmi 4A,5A,and recently released 6A which fall into the same price bracket this phone is an absolute night mare.

1.Performance:
It just takes long time to load anything and everything.

Messages: Long opening time
Whatsapp: Long opening time
Camera: It's opening time is quite good (I ain't talking picture quality)
Multitasking: Don't ask it, it will hang

2. Build quality:

Back is flexible plastic (durable)
Front doesn't have a gorilla glass, looks like a crappy piece of plastic.
Light weight
Once fallen the front will certainly crack but won't cause a problem in operating it ,just that it will become more irresponsive making it almost unusable making u invest on an other phone model.

2GB Ram us just for name sake, it doesn't operate like a 2GB RAM phone
Exynos processor, not even close to Snapdragon 435 performance.

Hence under 6K just go for Xiaomi eyes closed.
(I ain't a fan or promoter of Xiaomi, I have been using phones ranging from S40(Nokia X2-00),windows 8 and 10 mobile(Lumia 730), Android 7.1/8.1(Redimi note 3, Redmi 4A and Moto G5 S plus), iOS 12(iPad 5th gen 2017) to recently brought Samsung On 5 Pro for my Aunt who is a die-hard fan of Samsung phones.

I have all these phones with me still running beautifully except X2-00(which my dad broke when he was in srinagar during his duties ) and my Redmi note 3 (which thieves robbed from my hand.)
and atlast Samsung On 5 Pro which just cant match any of my phone's performance (Lumia 730 to Redmi 4A).

Security:

And if anyone concerned about privacy and security with Xiaomi phones let me tell you apart from Mi UI theres no androind system that gives you so much transparency and control of whats happening in the background in your phone which you can certainly change accordingly ,hence putting Xiaomi ahead from other manufacturers in this price bracket.

Touch is so insensitive. Touching C hits spacebar. Picture quality and speaker quality is very poor. I connected to my Bose Mini II SoundLink speaker and BlueTooth connection gets lost every 4 minutes. Most of the times, I am unable to hear phone calls too. I have to restart the phone to make it work again. SD card will be detected only if phone wants to. Not that when I need. The is 100% faulty product delivered by the seller through Amazon. Is there no one to ask the seller why you sold a faulty product to the innocent customer like Gowtham?

They are selling duplicate samsung. Samsung 13MP camera picture quality is like a VGA camera,and also touch is not working properly.so this seller belong in West Bengal...they are buying this type Samsung phone from khidirpore stolen market in kolkata.so this seller is not perfect to buy a phone.

Having problem in 4g network jio sim is not working or supporting in this phone while its works well on my older lava mobile. Except this network issue every thing is fine and a good mobile in this price. Bought it just bcoz of samsung brand to gift it to my father other wise lots of latest model are available in this price range

Budget phone... Got it for 5400/- during sale.. Build quality is awesome compared to other brands. Although camera is not good and i don't mind camera quality for the price i paid

The phone had a nice build quality, picture quality was considerable for the price with less camera noise, sound quality was ok...
Samsung also offers multitasking and s-bike mode with is an important selling point. Battery is 3000mAh but offers 1-2 days of battery backup with one primary sim.

worth every penny if you are not serious gamer & not filthy downloader then this is the phone for you. screen ultra clear,everything is good. avoid chinese junks with giroscope, compass,finger print etc bullshit. what matters the most is screen clearity, touch, call clearity and camera. and this phone has all this.

This phone is not for youngster who want to chat or surfing or playing game or heavy usage.its for parents who want to use smartphone for video calling and normal usage of well known apps
