If you want your phone to look better than anyone else go for it..
It looks awesome... though am not hard user of mobile, performance so far looked really good does't hang.. install more than 30 apps.. Camara is not up to sony standard it could have been better.. music cant have better phone than sony when it comes to music..
touch is good.. battery I don't know.. all smart phone might come only 1 day..

This is an excellent phone at a very good price. It's biggest plus point is its mammoth 1700mAh battery which lasts really long. The 5 MP camera does its job pretty well. Front camera is average. Net surfing experience on both, 3G and wifi is superb.

It's headphone sound quality could have been better though.

I bought this phone nearly at the end of June, 2012. Highly disappointed by this phone.... Highly lags after the JB update...I read many forum, all phones have same kinda problem..do check some forums before you buy this..

Dear Readers....Honestly speaking it is a worst phone. I bought it a month ago & repenting..it hangs a lot & camera quality is poor. It heats up frequently....Battery backup is good.. I never expected such a poor performer from SONY the Japanese Giant.... Sony pls address this problem....

I have myself used xperia go n j:liked both of em a lot!!!
but xperia go is better

xperia u pros:
1) its i ghz dual core,faster than xperia j,

2)its got mali400 gpu,ideal for playing games,also better than xperia j's adreno200

3)8gb internal vs 4 gb.xperia u doesnt get an sd card support.

4)280ppi........better than 245 on xperia j

5)hd camera....yes better than standard vga and it also has an front facing cam

6)u can get it under rs15000

Its manageable model. Android is not upgraded till now. So you ll not get the latest android for this. Over all experience not bad. Looks good. If you move applications to internal memory rather than phone, speed increases. So its a point.

I sold Samsung s duos at a loss and bought this sony xperia J and guys this is a really good phone. It has killer looks, Most Best and amazing sound quality, just like thetre sound in the calls and music and picture quality is the best its a sony after all.

Awesome phone in look. But during the past two weeks, I feel lots of time my phone is stuck due to the weak processor. Also I don't know how this heavy battery is empty even I used the power saver option with less back light, sync, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth off.

Bit expensive when comparing with similar phones in market.

I have just switched from using a Samsung Corby to the Sony Xperia J after much thought and reading a million reviews posted all over the net.
First and fore most I would like to say that i had bought this phone from Flipkart on the 8th of Dec. and got it immediately on the 10th. So GREAT job by flipkart.
I would say that people who can afford phones worth more than 18k to please not comment here. Not to be rude but, phones below that price range are completely different and cannot be compar...

I have used this phone for last 4 - 5 months, but never been satisfied with it. This is a piece of shit not more than that. Never expected such product company like sony. I would recommend to never buy Sony Android.
