I just purchased this phone for my wife. It has a good camera 5MP camera, good 4 inch screen with a nice resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass. Hearing the Music play on it is quite good. Its Touch receptiveness is very good with a Screen Guard on the glass. Battery back up is OK too.

Video playback on this phone is bad. This phone does not open any 720p or 1080p videos with the default player. With the MX Player, 720p videos play very slow or with no sound. 1080p videos just crash after a se...

This phone has excellent screen resolution but processor is so slow you cant even play candy crush on same. Almost all application will hang and phone will keep hanging since processor speed is so slow. Just don't waste you money on this you have better options like panasonic and samsung

i'l surely recommend for people who need every bit of android experience to moderate levels. A spacious 4" screen, curvy design, great image and audio clarity, dual cameras is more than enough a casual user can ever ask for. Expandable storage (32 GB) is rare add-on coming from Sony.

I had bought this phone last year and till date it hasn't given me any problem.

Highlights: Best battery backup - 2 days (almost) with usage of Whatsapp (heavy usage), synchronized Gmail, Outlook, Facebook, etc.

The camera is good and am satisfied with it. It is better than many nokia phones and definitely superior than any micromax, karbonn etc products.

Music is godly.

What is BAD? 512 mb ram.

I bought this phone from Flipkart, I felt this is the worst phone I have ever seen, never by this product from SONY- the company has lost its Image after launching this, Sony is known for its camera Picture quality and function, all these are dam poor, you can take a good image from its camera, taking 01 picture take some time 5 Minutes to be processed, this phone has a problem with processer that doesn’t allow the Image gallery to open and much of the time it says No data Found without any r...

lags, lags and lags. its barely 500mb ram and its android ics, so it lags on normal use. if u r trying to play games then u r on the wrong planet! built quality is good, style is good, but performance wise its ancient phone. dont buy it. go for M etc. u must consider dual core snapdragon processors (not mediatek mtk LOL) and 1 gb of minimum ram with adreno 300+ to play games or use smoothly. it cant even play 720p videos

Please do not waste your money on this crap phone as it cannot run simple apps like other phone of its class. There is only cons about this phone no pros as i wasted my money on this bullshit phone, even micromax is better. This is a piece of shit which i did not expect from Sony.

Xperia J... i have been using this phone for last 1 year... i still never like to change it... i am looking forward to buy J duos, with the same look, may be 4.7 inch, 2 gb RAM, dual sim, and 16gb internal memory..... :)

I bought this phone about 5 months ago.
i am a music lover and bought this phone for the-much talked about- "sound quality" of sony and there is only one word I can say about it- PATHETIC, at least when it comes to this phone.
the sound in the headphones is incredibly low and all you can listen to is outside sound.but.....there is also a good side to this- now i dont have to take my earphones out to know if my mom is calling me, i can simply listen to her while listening to my songs, AT FULL ...
