The phone has good looks with its curved body.
You can go for it if you won't be using it much. 512 MB RAM is very less. Also it's 1 Ghz processor is not that efficient. Good phone if you don't use much Apps.It lags a lot if more loaded. Other wise go for samsung in same range.

Its worst phone,I bought it 1 year back, I am facing frequent reboot issue since last 6 month.
Also speed is very slow compared to same segment phones. Not worth buying.

I was a big fan of Sony.. But Once I buy this..I have lost trust from Sony. I wll never buy Sony Phone ever...Slow Processing.. Very low sound even on woofers.. If you still want to buy it,..Buy it from me in half price..Find my listing on qucikr :P

Pros:
All the internet related stuff works excellent with no performance issues.
I have configured my office Emails , 3 Gmail ID's , use many apps at a time and the performance is very good
Screen resolution and Display is awesome
Camera is good during the Day and clicks nice pics
Sound is good but still not upto the Standards Sony has set.
Cons
Its slower on the basic Phone features like when loading Call Log , Contact Log and Album.
Not a Good Phone...

Not good music output .
Not even able to play temple run properly .
Though the display quality is awesome and also the video playback .
However the basic thing for music lover's is sound which is not there.

Flipkart is simply great. Speaking about Sony Xperia J, I have been using it since last one year and been to twice to Sony's Repair center and situation is still the same. Although I haven't bought it from Flipkart but as due respect, anyone buying from Flipkart should be beneficial I had to write this.
As everyone thinks and searches for the best and latest technology and features available in the market that too in cheaper price, Xperia J seemed the best one to me as well.

Can't u people see that Xperia j uses cortex a5 chipset !!?? And still u simply buy it ? Go for Galaxy s adv instead of this or try the lg l9 really gr8 phone!!! Cortex a5 is outdated right now it's the generation of either cortex a9 or. a15

we have many options at this range if u see akshat guptha or others they simply saw the over view at this range but u can get samsung galaxy s advamce or sony xperia u or sony xperia sola ...(comparing specs)......coming to s advance and xperia u and sola we have dual core processors in three phones whereas j has only single core with arm a5 architecture but u can get a7 architecture at same price and coming to ram s advance has 768 and xperia u j and sola has 512 mb then coming to gpu adreno...
