Well I had initially planned to buy Xperia Sola but then I thought of spending a few bucks more and buy this beautiful artifact;Xperia P as Sony has confirmed that Xperia Sola will not get JellyBean :( :(

Xperia P is an excellent phone with all the features.
processor is very good and RAM of 1 GB is more than enough.
camera is very good..but capturing in low light could be better.
all features are excellent except battery life.

The battery life of Xperia P has been posed as one of the major weaknesses of this phone.The claim is quite true in the android 2.3 platform.

I Used to recharge it every morning to 100%
The wifi and auto sync was off
Usage :1 hr of call+ 5-10 SMS+30 min of gaming+30 min surfing+30 min music via headphne
3G was on between 7AM - 11PM (I downloaded a battery saver app which automatically switches it off between 11PM-7...

I am a sony xperia p owner,Do not go for xperia p if you are looking for

1.good battery backup (very less)
2.GPS and 3G (charge drains quickly)
3.camera(no satisfaction for 8 MP)
4.a phone with high volume.

Phone was hanging several times ,but updating to jelly bean solves the issue

Go for it if you are looking a cell with

1.a good look and slim
2.awesome multimedia experience(music ,video , photos etc.)
3.sea of games(playing games in xperia is an awesome experience)
4.a portable charge...

Hello, I admit that Sony Xperia P just a cool phone but not so good, actually this phone has some problem regarding its processing and software. Using it since one month
Advantages:
1. 4 inch is the right size for one handed use.
2. Very bright screen thanks to Whitemagic
3. Awesome camera with FullHD recording
4. NFC
5. No hanging issues so far while playing games
6. Music quality is very good. Can play 1024p videos
7. Promised JellyBean update

Disadvantages:
It was a battery drainer for initial 2-3 days but after that it settled down. Make sure you recharge for 8-10hrs before first use. Also use it for couple of days before jumping...

This phone is so good to handling. Super internet speed. superb design. good to hold in palm. already installed Apps, Security. superb camera quality. Battery charging speed so fast even can within 20 minutes. You should go 2/3 times daily charge if using internet, game and music. Otherwise once a day charging is enough. I love it. Sony Champs.

I will talk about the UI.

according to me Timescape is the best UI compared to any other UIs.

Everything that you want is already there...e.g the Infinite View for contacts, Full screen caller ID, flexible display for Gallery, Magnifier while selecting the text....font size adjustment...beautiful themes, floating widgets...the touch...such a brilliant integration..
Just AWESOME...

I bought this phone on oct which had ICS out of the box !!! my one month experience with this phone is OSM !!!

Some best features are :

- Video clarity: Yo cannot imagine such a clarity while watching a 1080p HD video .Its bravia engine is superb ...

- Processor speed : No lag or restart so far..You can play any high def games without any lags...It even performs faster than S3 ( Guys its really true )

- Aluminium body : It gives the classy look which you cannot see in any other phones on ...
