My fellow smartphone users..
You would like to know that performance wise, the Xperia Z is not far from Samsung Galaxy S4.
While Samsung did announce that 'Galaxy S4' would consist of 'Exynos 5 Octa 5410' chipset, the phone DOES NOT work on 8 cores! It consists of 2 quad-core processors for efficiency purpose (Quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A15 & Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7) . So at a given point of time, the phone uses one of the either processors. this is a great phone ,but the clubbed freebies are total waste,it you think they are "premium"..................cheap marketing gimmick by Sony.Even the 6 months free music subscription is junk(very limited songs)....(Nokia music is great)...But lifetime 50gb BOX cloud space is good.........About phone,migrating from iphone 5 was made simple by sonys Bridge software,even "notes" and recordings were copied to my iphone backup to xperia Z..phone is simply the BEST in terms of hardware quality,...

according 2 naga raja super amoled display is the best but in real life according to you tube comparison test this comes after htc lcd3 display and sony TFT.
secondly he don't know what is gorilla glass,he is comparing gorilla glass 2 bravia engine.this makes me laugh,after reading this part i know he don't know anything and he is also using any of samsung phone,so thats why he don't know about bravia engine.
thirdly s4 is not having HDR feature which is a drawback for camera loving people,s4...

Got delivery of this phone last Monday. My co-workers took lot of pictures, pictures look great. Installed skype for android, very good clarity.

Will put this phone for heavy use this weekend and keep you posted.

IPhone who? Galaxy who?

This is the mother of all smart phones. Everyone who sees it is astonished. The screen is marvelous. It doesn't have the contrast of an LED screen but that makes it all the more better as my screen doesn't look cartoonish. The colours look more real than an LED screen. It is fast and nippy. Does NOT lag. The videos play awesome. The camera is good but doesn't live up to the expectations. I expected a little more.

on paper no doubt s4 is better than Xperia z....but in practical life ....lets check..
1)display- both r having 5inch display ,both r having full hd display,
samsung using super amoled screen which is not great according to critics(kindly check comparison between different screens on you tube).... Sony(TFT) screen is great but its problem is bad viewing angles......but SONY is using BRAVIA ENGINE 2 for Xperia Z....so in the end Xperia Z display is more vivid and crisp than samsung amoled and ...

I read some of these people posting bogus reviews of this phone while they don't even own it. I own it but I didn't buy it from flipkart. I bought it from Vijay Sales on Day One as I couldn't wait for it. Regardless, most of the people here don't even know what this phone is capable of and yet they are comparing it to other phones that haven't even launched yet. It's silly, it's as if they have next to zero knowledge of what they are doing.

The Phone Xperia Z is a joy to behold.. i really like this phone.. believe me when i tell u i
know alot about phones, i wasn't sure about the Snapdragon s4 processor(when 600 is already out) but this phone seem to run smoothly, yeah yeah about the display; may be its because its on camera or something but the display shouldn't bother anyone, its a very good display(not the best definitely), but its really good. I noticed that the automatic settings for the display is on, if u remove that set...

The phone is actually a best phone available in market right now. There are many reviews and comparisons available on internet about how this phone performs. Till now almost everybody knows its pros and cons (thanks to gsmarena) who wants to purchase this phone but, for me shifting from Xperia S to Xperia Z has not been a good deal. Purchased yesterday at Rs. 38000.00 (not from flipkart as I can't wait for another two days.. :P) but I'm happy with its overall performance.
