Pros of ZR over Z
1.Ideal display size than mighty 5'..wonder how people are using plastic mega's which look monstrous while taking with someone.
2.IP55/58 than IP55/56 of Z's..so additional protection under water.
3.With the difference in display size, the battery works better with this smaller one ZR than Z.

Except for the low internal memory and the VGA front cam, this is the perfect phone for me. Now I regret, I should've waited for this one, instead of buying SP. Waterproof and 2GB of RAM are the best part of Xperia ZR. And the design is pretty decent too.

i don't know what the hell is wrong with sony.......can't they see if they are offering a phone of almost 30k than it at least deserves 16gb of internal memory......in this phone only 4.6gb is usable and most of big games and apps install data on the internal memory....i would have definitely gone for this one if it had 16gb internal memory and yeaa it's now time for at least android 4.2.2 and also the front facing camera should be atleast 1.5MP

Nothing much difference between Z & ZR

Pros of Z over ZR.
1.ZR's Display is smaller than Z's 5inch.
2.But Z had 442ppi but ZR had only 319ppi.
3.Z had 1920 x 1080 but ZR had 720 x 1280 resolution
4.2MP front facing but ZR had 0.3MP.
5.16GB internal memory than ZR's 8GB.
6.Difference of 30 mah in battery which Z claims.

Its been 9 months of using the phone and so thought now i can probably say a lot more of the performance than mere appearance or specifications. bought it via flipkart. The phone has been awesome but most of its model has a serious problem with the Bluetooth functionality. Every time i upgrade the OS the Bluetooth stops working. Sony has been kind enough to replace it twice of the faulty once but there are certain issues with that too..

Its not worth the money. No premium experience out of the box Andorid ,no special customization. Battery drains quickly and touch is also not very responsive.
Tower problem is predominant. Advice please don't buy this phone

I got this from flipkart in 3 days, so satisfied with that. Coming to the phone, its a good buy at its price. Plus I got a 10% cashback, i.e., I got the phone at 22.5k, which was an ideal deal for me. At this price, it was truly the best phone I could get.

I got a product from Flipkart, while charging it heats a lot, i called Flipkart customer care and they refused to change my product, i went to Service Center, product was defect and they changed my cell..
I am unhappy with Flipkart service this time...
Now phone seems to be working fine..
