I have waited for a long time to buy this phone.
Didn't dissapoint me though.
Pros:
Very handy to use in hand. Curved back supports one handed usage. No rectangular shaping.
Comes with a pure stock android. Lighter, faster, easy to use.
Captures pictures like a pro. You'll never be upset.
Super Amoled display with punchy colors and user experience.

Cons:
HD display as everyone say. (But colors are very good)
Battery life could be even more better. (Can be fixed through update)
Nothing more ;)

Verdict:
If specs are everything that matters you, go for realme 5 pro or vivo z1 pro. Mind you, it isn't important at all, if you are a casual user.
Super Amoled screen is really good..hd+ screen isn't bothering me. But, one can see pixelelated screen through text.

I was a Redmi user before. Bought it only to satisfy the price to performance ratio. But, after every Redmi mobile launching in the market, they'll slow down releasing Android updates, impulsing ads, even shut down Android updates completely quickly. I compromised a bit on user experience and it taught me specs isn't only thing to consider.

The on screen finger print sensor is terrible. Doesn't detect your thumb impression even after 5 attempts. Every time you want to unlock the phone, you end up entering the pin. Out of 50 attempts hardly 4-5 times succeeds.

I've bought this phone in first sell. MI A3 is just amazing. Wonderful phone under 15K just like MI A3, I've never seen.
Camera quality amazing, Processor just a have wonderful quality, battery quality and life is super. Overall this phone is very good.
I've used Note 6 Pro, Redmi Y2, Redmi Y3 and note 5 pro before this phone. But it's quality is wonderful... I'll recommend you for buy this phone..

Camera is awesome, feel in hand is also fantastic, performance good, but you can use either sim1 or microsd with sim 2 slot and that is quite a drawback for today's mobiles

advertised as pure andrios, but MI community and MI apps are preloaded more over not as good as exiting andriod PIE version, advertised and promoted with features but lot of existing Good in the existing pie version is removed and not user friendly , not recommended for regular users as it need some more addtional skill and unable to remove date in the home screen (or to modify as we neeed and forced google search page which also not removable

AMOLED display and 720p hasn't work well.
The images which are taken from camera are disappointing. When you shared those images on social media it gets blurry.
In some points I feel MIA2 is better then MIA3.
The phone is heating while chargin. (May be this issue is with my phone only)

Not supposed Redmi A series ,to customers who are using xiomi series,no dual apps no security app,no gallery

Build quality is good
Easy to navigate by one hand
Performance is good
Camera is good

Cons:
Screen quality, even it was super amoled screen the brightness and quality is not good.
On screen fingerprint was bit slow.
Sound quality and loudness is average
Widevine l1 not supported , so no HD video quality for amazon prime and hotstar
