I have order this phone on 4 July 2015 and I got this phone delivered on 7th July 2015.
This phone is showing me the MIUI update so I updated it for the latest version i.e. 6.5.3.0

After that my life became hell, what I observe is that Network Signal strength is high and in few minutes it goes to zero.
On full network when I tried to make a call then call doesn't got connected saying OUT OF SERVICE and I see a cross sign on the signal bar.
I tried AIRTEL and VODAFONE but still have the sam...

Phone is just second name of what u can imagine beauty is. Stunning looks, you dont even have to put an ugly screen guard because its scratch resistant (trust me it is) which makes the phone look even better.

I am using this mobile from past 4 months and I use FB/watsapp/Linkedin/DropBox/FB messaging regularly and other good apps. I don't generally use my mobile for gaming. I am photographer too.

its the cheapest phone with all facilities.one disadvantage is it heats up soon...but tht's manageable..other than that i dnt find any disadvantage

Dont ever buy this product i bought this mobile 30th June 2015..i used this mobile only for 2 days after that it suddenly got switch Off...I am trying to switch on bt no use.. only startup window appears..and again gets switch off..
I dont waste your hard earn money..

This redmi 2 phone i am purchase very first flash sale( on 24 march 2015) after three months no problem but now the over heat back camera side ans drain battery very fast..

Over heat and drain battery just 2 to 3hrs..

Please dont buy this product....

PROS:
good battery backup
bright display(IPS)
good Internet speed
option to free ram
No lagging while playing high end games
good touch
camera good(both)

CONS:
speakers Sound loud but not up to the mark
No gorilla glass, handle with care
Built in quality OK but not great
heat while play but not much

finally I am satisfied because I got it for 5.

speaker is not working, gets heated while talking for 4-5 mins, hang problem. There is only difference of rs 500/- with lenovo a6000 and double the configuration lenovo have.

Xiaomi has bought to us a new world of smartphones which enables us to make us far too friendly than any other companies claim to be. It allows us to remove google play store too if the user thinks off removing it. All things including camera, touch, sound etc. are provided upto the mark.
