I have got this phone for my mother who is not so tech - savvy hence it would not make much of a difference. But for someone who is from Gen Y it is a BIG NO for them
Cons
1. Front cam is poor even than VGA
2. The MUI6.0 eats up all the RAM with no apps installed it has only 200 MB free ram. Hence will hamper multi app usage..
3. Game like Temple run will lag.
4. Apps will run not run on sd card and you have around 4.8 GB space on phone.
Images video of whatsapp will go to phone memory henc...

Hi All,
Bought Redmi 2 from flikart.
There are no real time notification for any messenger.if google same problem, u will find below solusion from MI official site and i have done all below steps but still having the same problem

- Turn on the auto start in Permission
- Turn on the notification shade
- Lock the apps in task menu- Set the Memory optimization to high in developer option.
- Restart
- Install back the apps (whatsapp, FB and etc)

No point using a phone that can't have real time ...

gps is not working correctly.in another moblie gps is fine working.i am not recomend to buy this.waste of money.

ONLY LOOK IS MODIFIED WHEN COMPARE WITH REDMI 1S.
HEATING IS STILL THERE LIKE REDMI 1S.
HARWARE IS GOOD BUT MIUI IS NOT GOOD.
RAM IS ALSO TOO LOW.MULTITASKING IS HORRIBLE.
PURE CHINESE PRODUCT..DONT WASTE YOUR HARD EARN MONEY ON THIS SHIT KIND OF DEVICE..

front 1.6mp camera of redmi 1s is better than 2mp camera of redmi2... itz actually 0.3mp.

It's normal mobile phone as another, it's good

redmi 2 is a brilliant device from xioami considering the specs and performance at ? 6999 its no doubt that this device is capable of competing against those mid rangers in market which charges more and gives ugly specs and worse performance ( m pointing at you samsung)

so in my daily usage here are some pros and cons i noticed
Pros:
1)Gorgeous Display ( 1280 x 720 ) saturation level of redmi 2 is good and balance nicely with contrast levels
2)Good battery life , i mean its not the gre...

*Update* -> This phone is not working up to the mark now!! It only show 100 to 150mb ram available at anytime. So many apps closes automatically! No multi tasking is going in this phone.

Till now I am very happy with this phone at this price. Lots of themes are available to personalize this phone. One disturbing thing is that when you switch to see some other app,the previous app closes automatically. I am very much happy with this phone- an ultimate budget phone.. go for it.

Review on my opinion

1. Very slim and sexy than Redmi 1S
2. Very clear, I have Mi3 as well, but Redmi 2S looks brighter than Mi3
3. Fast and fluid
4. MIUI 6 is not slowing down in Redmi 2S
